Meet The Face Behind Florence Precious Home Care
I’m Florence Shanga, the proud owner of Florence Precious Home Care. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
In my twenty-plus years of experience in the nursing field, I often saw people being treated as case numbers. Being a registered nurse and having worked in the homecare business before, I seized the opportunity to be of service to my community. I started Florence Precious Home Care in September of 2019.
Initially, business was booming, but with the arrival of COVID-19, I have seen a slow down with more and more individuals opting to take care of their loved ones themselves or seek out private care services. However, they miss out on the benefit of continuity of services in the event of an emergency with their private caregivers. Also, they risk being left to fend for themselves when family members go back to work.
The part of the homecare practice I most enjoy is the many interactions and long-lasting connections I make. I similarly am rather proud that because of my services, my patients can remain in the comfort of their homes and enjoy the continued joys of being close to family and friends.
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my respect for all, the truth and transparency I live by, and the trust I have built with my clients.
I attribute my success to my many loyal clients and their families for the many referrals and valuable connections they have offered. I also think my commitment to retaining and ensuring my employees are happy has significantly impacted my company’s success.
Seeing happy families relieved they have finally found us has given me immense satisfaction over the years and continues to inspire me to be the best.
When I am not at work, I am still always on my toes. I enjoy cleaning my home, exercising, spending time with my family, and gardening at the nearby South Branch Preserve.
I am also passionate about giving back to my community. To do my part, I regularly volunteer and donate to a charity that assists bright students in Kenya.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
